DTSSP crosslinker (3,3´-Dithiobis[sulfosuccinimidylpropionate]) is ahomobifunctional protein crosslinker that is cell membrane impermeable. DTSSPcrosslinking reagent has primary aminereactive N-hydroxysulfosuccinimide(Sulfo-NHS) esters at both ends of a cleavable, 8-atom (12.0 angstrom) spacerarm. DTSSP contains a reducible disulfide (thiol) bond in the spacer arm that makeit a good choice for various applications.
