MBS crosslinker is a non-cleavable, water insoluble, heterobifunctionalprotein crosslinking reagent that is commonly used to crosslink haptens tocarrier proteins and enzymes to antibody. The MBS crosslinking reagent's NHS ester andmaleimide reactive groups react with amino and sulfhydryl moites, respectively.
